Since forming Advanced Consulting Engineering, P.C. in 1980, Mr. Konstantopoulos has directed and supervised the design of all types of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. His 38 years of experience in engineering have provided him the expertise to handle not only standard lighting and power distribution, high- and low-voltage power distribution systems including protective relaying and controls, but also supervision of mechanical, plumbing and fire protection design. He has extensive experience in fire protection systems, preparing feasibility studies and cost effective analyses.
Mr. Konstantopoulos is a registered professional engineer in several states nationwide including Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Maine, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, West Virginia, Nevada, and California. He has received The Washington Building Congress (WBC) Craftsmanship Award for his work on the Carnegie Institute of Washington, the NAIOP Award of Excellence in recognition for his work on Maryland 50 Industrial Park, and many others.

ALEX KONSTANTOPOULOS, P.E. LEED AP
MECHANICAL ENGINEER
After graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Alex has accumulated over eight years of experience with Advanced Consulting Engineering, P.C. He has designed mechanical systems for a variety of commercial buildings including schools, offices, commercial, institutional, fire houses, housing, governmental and hospital facilities. Designs implemented have ranged from all types of air distribution and hydronic systems to steam systems.
Alex is a registered Professional Engineer in Washington, D.C. and LEEDŽ AP Certified. |
